AdSense Can minimize your cost

Webmasters are always looking for a way to shave a few dollars of the cost running their website. The lower the operating cost the higher the profits. Implementing Google Adsense on your site can cover more than a few expenses. How much money you can bring in with Adsense is dependent on the amount of traffic coming to your site.

Let us think about this. Your domain was around $10 for the year and, your hosting could be anywhere from five to fifteen dollars per month unless you are on a dedicated server. Wouldn't it be nice if you could earn $15 to $20 per month to cover these expenses? You will need to go to Google and get your adwords account and, follow Google's instructions for setting up your account. Google lets you select a color scheme to match your site and also lets you choose if you want text or image ads. Choose the combination that best suits your website.

Once you have completed all of this you are ready to place the code in your web pages. Proper placement is key if you want a good click-thru ratio. Try placing the code between paragraphs on your highest traffic pages. I recommend not placing Adsense ads on your sales page. The last thing you want is people clicking away from your sales page. Once your ads are in place you can get back to the main focus which is traffic. You need large amounts of traffic in order to make any money.
